What We Believe

We believe in the Triune God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost

We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Eternal Logos or Word of God, who is both God and Man, for the sins of the whole world

We believe in necessity of personal conversion, recognizing our fallen nature as sinful creatures and our need for a Saviour

We recognize that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, but through His Divine grace and mercy, we have received an invitation to return through the work of Jesus Christ upon the cross

We believe that our Lord will return to judge both the living and the dead. Those who belong to Him to eternal life and those who do not to eternal damnation

We believe in the seven received Sacraments of the catholic church

Two Dominical sacraments instituted by Jesus himself

  Holy Baptism

  Holy Eucharist

Five sacraments as accepted by the undivided church

Holy Unction (Anointing of the Sick)

  Holy Matrimony

  Holy Orders

  Reconciliation of the Penitent (Confession)

We believe that Baptism is the means whereby sins are forgiven, man is regenerate and born again, and the means by which one enters the Church

We believe in the Real Presence of our Lord in the Sacrifice of the Mass

We believe that Holy Matrimony exists only between one man and one woman in a lifelong union, the bonds of which are indissoluble

We believe in the sanctity of human life which begins at conception and ends at our natural death

We believe that the church has instituted three orders of ministry, bishops, priests, and deacons.  The undivided church has taught and we receive that these orders are restricted to males

We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the Word of God written, delivered to their human authors through divine inspiration, and are considered authoritative in all respects and containing all things necessary for our salvation
